For year-round romance, Bora Bora, Tahiti, and the Maldives are unmatched — overwater villas, glass floors, private dining on the beach. November through April is the dry season in both. From May through October, the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Tuscany, the Greek Islands (Santorini, Mykonos, Milos), and Croatia's Dalmatian Coast all reach their peak. For winter honeymoons, Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa) and Costa Rica work beautifully, as does a Caribbean adults-only stay.
Multi-stop honeymoon itineraries
Two or three stops in two weeks usually beats one location for ten days. A classic Italy honeymoon pairs four nights in Rome with three nights on the Amalfi Coast and four nights in Tuscany or Lake Como. A Greek honeymoon flows from two nights in Athens to four in Santorini to three in Milos or Mykonos. A bucket-list trip might combine a few nights in Tahiti before settling in Bora Bora for the rest of the stay.
